Job Summary
As a Short-Term Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on their short-term insurance needs. You will build and maintain relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with our underwriting team to ensure seamless policy issuance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice and guidance to clients on short-term insurance products, including motor, household, and business insurance
- Conduct needs analyses and risk assessments to determine clients’ insurance requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure client retention and growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate policy issuance and resolve any client queries or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and new product offerings.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in short-term insurance, preferably as a broker or agent
- Qualifications: Relevant insurance qualifications (RE5) advantageous

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance software systems
