Our reputable brokerage firm specializes in providing personalized short-term insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. We’re seeking experienced and mature individuals to join our team as Short-Term Insurance Brokers.

Job Summary

As a Short-Term Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on their short-term insurance needs. You will build and maintain relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with our underwriting team to ensure seamless policy issuance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional advice and guidance to clients on short-term insurance products, including motor, household, and business insurance
  • Conduct needs analyses and risk assessments to determine clients’ insurance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure client retention and growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate policy issuance and resolve any client queries or concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and new product offerings.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in short-term insurance, preferably as a broker or agent
  • Qualifications: Relevant insurance qualifications (RE5) advantageous

Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance software systems
